How To Choose The Right PEMF Device For You

Choosing The Right PEMF Device

If you’ve researched PEMF devices before, you've either looked for information to help you understand them better. Or you may have looked for advice before making a purchase.

Maybe you're trying to understand which PEMF device would work best for you.

This blog will help you understand all the above. It'll also help you understand the benefits of using different PEMF devices, and the benefits each one can bring.

Before learning about each PEMF device, let's look at what PEMF is.

What is PEMF?

PEMF Wavelengths - What Are They?

PEMF, or "Pulsed Electromagnetic Field," is a form of therapy. It delivers low-frequency electromagnetic waves to the human body. A PEMF device usually delivers these waves.

Common names for PEMF devices are a PEMF Mat, a Pulse Electromagnetic Field Mat or an Electromagnetic Mat.

Several well-documented articles highlight the benefits of PEMF therapy. These benefits can range from soothed muscles to improved sleep and enhanced focus. PEMF is popular with athletes and doctors because of its wellness properties.

However, PEMF therapy isn't cheap. Some wellness companies charge by the minute. Some charge depending on the type of PEMF treatment you request. PEMF therapy can cost anywhere between $60 and $75 per half-hour session.

Most wellness spas recommend you begin with 2-3 sessions a week, so the costs add up. This is why we designed a collection of PEMF devices. You can use these devices on your own terms at a fraction of the cost of going for regular sessions.

Is PEMF safe? Several academic articles exist that show there are no known side effects.

Before we look at each PEMF device, let's give you a feel for their features and benefits.

PEMF Device Features & Benefits

BON CHARGE's PEMF Devices

Most PEMF devices only have Near and FAR infrared light built in. Our devices have red light, near-infrared and FAR infrared light wavelengths to maximise your sessions.

Each PEMF device has 4 settings. The PEMF wavelength settings range from 1Hz to 30Hz. (Not high frequency or full electromagnetic spectrum). They are broken down as follows:

  • Setting 1: Delta - 1Hz to 3Hz - Can help you sleep deeper and feel more refreshed each day.
  • Setting 2: Theta - 8Hz (The earth's electric and magnetic fields) - Ideal for grounding, relaxation and helping you reducing stress
  • Setting 3: Alpha - 9Hz to 12Hz - Can boost your creativity giving you a sense of fulfilment and increasing energy
  • Setting 4: Beta - 13Hz to 30Hz - Great for conscious thought, logical thinking, even meditation for better clarity.

It's always best to listen to your body when choosing your setting.

Each PEMF device is FDA and ARTG registered. Each device emits low EMF. (Low exposure to EMF levels of 0.16mG). These devices are the lowest on the market, with levels of EMF under 0.2mG considered safe.

Each device also has ISO9001 quality accreditation and includes a full 1-year manufacturer's warranty for peace of mind. Each device comes with its own carry case for dust-free storage.

Let's look at each device and how you can use them for maximum benefit.

Infrared PEMF Mat Max

Infrared PEMF Mat Max

The Infrared PEMF Mat Max is a full body mat measuring 74.8 inches in length by 31.5 inches in width. (Almost 2 metres by 80 centimetres). You can lie down on the mat to relax, or use it for stretching or yoga.

When using the FAR infrared option, we always recommend wearing something light and comfortable. This is because the mat uses infrared heat and it can reach high temperatures (Up to 176 Fahrenheit).

Like each PEMF device, the mat is easy to use. Unfold the mat on a flat surface like your floor, bed, or sofa. Plug in your mat. Then select your program depending on the outcome you want - and allow the wavelengths to work their magic.

The Max weighs 42 pounds (19 kilograms), so you may want to use this device at home. Like all our PEMF devices, the mat is flicker-free.
